In the abstract “Eltrombopag as first-line treatment in severe aplastic anemia: a cost-effectiveness analysis from the Brazilian public healthcare system perspective”, published in Hematol Transfus Cell Ther. 2021;43(S1):S1−S546, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.htct.2021.10.063

Where it reads:

“The combination of eltrombopag plus IST showed a higher cost of treatment than IST alone (R$ 248,964.02 vs. R$ 132,695.59, respectively)”

It should read:

“The combination of eltrombopag plus IST showed a higher cost of treatment than IST alone (R$ R$ 230,035 vs. R$ 134,033, respectively)”

Where it reads:

“This resulted in an incremental cost of R$ 116.268 per patient treated with IST alone.”

It should read:

“However, the combination saved resources related to HSCT, relapse and end of life. This resulted in an incremental cost of R$ 96,002 per patient treated with IST alone.”

Where it reads:

“resulting in an ICER of R$ 83.412 per life-year gained.”

it should read:

“resulting in an ICER of R$ 68,872 per life-year gained.”
